## UPDATE : WE HAVE NOW RECEIVED OFFICIAL CLOSURE LETTER LETTER OF SUCCESSFULL COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT
We are overwhelmed in sharing the joy of accoplishment . In a very sentimental ceremony we handed over the 12 equipments to the Hospital authorities where the audience of more than 300 witnessed this act of humanity through Rotary. I gave the background of project 'COCOON'. Our dear Dist. Gov. Pranesh gave ethos behind such humanitarian program, our club president Rtn. Sandeep & project chairman Rtn. Prashant gave our heartfelt thanks to all the people involved in this human endeavor.
But above all the Dean of the beneficiary Civil Hospital expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone who is behind this noble venture, he also brought to the light heartwrenching adverse realities of the ill equipped hospital. Where this N.I.C.U. is designed to serve only 10 babies at a time ( sufficient equipments are not available to look after even for these 10) but due to unavailibility of charitable N.I.C.U. elsewhere, minimum 25 babies are admitted per day on an average. This creates a huge void of resources .He emphasised that not only Project Cocoon will help immensely in overcoming shortfalls of the equipments but also has given a great deal of motivation to hospital staff for working with more devotion. Looking at the quantum of the shortfall, our club committed continued support to this hospital in future also.
All in all it was a great feeling around to see humanity in motion Rotary way. We again & again thank everyone and all for the support you gave us in this cause.
warm wishes to you & your family,
Rtn Sandeep, Rtn Santosh & All the members of ,
R.C.O.Kolhapur Heritage.
